Growing out of his immensely popular TED talk and platform, a gripping, deeply honest, fearless personal and societal exploration of masculinity and what it means to be a man from beloved actor, director, and social activist Justin Baldoni. The effects of traditionally defined masculinity have become one of the most prevalent social issues of our time. In this powerful, thoughtful book, Justin Baldoni reflects on his own struggles and speaks openly about taboo subjects to help create a new understanding and a system of compassion and accountability. For Justin, its not just about becoming better men. Its about becoming good humans. With insight and raw honesty, he explores a range of difficult, sometimes uncomfortable topics, including strength and vulnerability, female empowerment, relationships and marriage, racial justice, sex and sexuality, bullying, gender equality, body image, worklife balance, and fatherhood. Writing from experience, not expertise, Justin provides us with essential tools as he invites us to move beyond the scripts weve learned since childhood and the roles we are expected to play. He challenges men to be brave enough to be vulnerable, to be strong enough to be sensitive, to be confident enough to listen. In this urgent, groundbreaking and provocative book, he challenges men to dig deep within themselves as he reimagines what it means to be man enough, all while connecting us to what it means to be human.mehr

Autor

Justin Baldoni is an actor, director, producer, New York Times bestselling author, and entrepreneur whose efforts are focused on creating impactful media and entertainment. Baldoni is the co-founder of Wayfarer Studios, an independent production studio focused on creating purpose-driven, multi-platform content that serves as true agents for social change.

Baldoni is well-known for his starring role as ?Rafael? on The CW's ?Jane the Virgin,? but has since moved more behind the camera with films such as CLOUDS and FIVE FEET APART among his directing and producing credits. Currently, Baldoni is directing, executive producing, and starring in the highly anticipated film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's #1 bestselling novel IT ENDS WITH US. In addition, he hosts the popular, Webby- nominated podcast, The Man Enough Podcast, which explores what it means to be a man today and how rigid gender roles have affected all people. He has also added author to his credits having penned his inaugural book Man Enough: Undefining My Masculinity in 2021 and then Boys Will Be Human in 2022, which went on to become a New York Times bestseller. Both aim to create a safer and more equitable world by calling on men to undefine masculinity by taking accountability, promoting vulnerability, emotional expression, and authentic connections with empathy and respect for all.
