'Are you feeling sick? You look really flushed. Want me to take you to the bathroom and get you a glass of water?' she continued.

'Please,' I answered meekly.
I followed her from the room, mortified that everyone had witnessed me losing control like that. I wanted to quit my job on the spot and never come back.
