Allegra McEvedy MBE is a professional chef, writer, and broadcaster. She has been cooking professionally for 30 years and worked in numerous award-winning restaurants, both in London and in the US. Allegra is the cofounder of LEON, the popular, healthy, fast-food restaurant group, and has more recently opened her own wine bar and restaurant in London. As well as an experienced chef, she is also inspiring children to be passionate about cooking by presenting children's TV programs, such as Junior Bake Off and Step Up to The Plate. Allegra has written 8 cookbooks, all of which have sold internationally.
