Kritik
"The Irish Civil War and Society: Politics, Class, and Conflict offers a welcome new approach by looking at the social dimensions of the conflict to illuminate its causes, character, and outcomes. ... This well-researched work provides interesting new information and judicious assessments. ... He provides a very useful first insight into the experiences of republicans in the Free State after downing arms, which opens up an almost entirely neglected field of research."
