Autor

Jessie Wilcox Smith (1863-1935) was an American illustrator renowned for her tender depictions of mothers and children. Smith was the second woman inducted into the Society of Illustrators' Hall of Fame, and she is considered one of the greatest children's books illustrators of all time. Clement C. Moore (1779-1863) was an American writer and scholar who specialized in divinity and ancient languages. "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" was first attributed to Moore in print in 1837, though Henry Livingston Jr. (1748-1828) may have been the true author.
