This book is so smart! Waterbaby is deeply political in that it deals with systems of power at every turn, unfailingly creative, funny, and devastating. Wallschlaeger writes from a specific place of seeing the humor and absurdism in the world at the same time that she's bone tired and fed up. (And her interviews are worth reading!)mehr
