Fuminori Nakamura, 1977 in Tokai geboren, lebt in Tokio. Er studierte Öffentliche Verwaltung und Staatsverwaltung an der Universität Fukushima. 2003 erschien sein Debüt, inzwischen hat er in Japan über ein Dutzend Romane veröffentlicht, die nun auch in zahlreichen anderen Ländern verlegt werden, unter anderem den USA, England, Frankreich, Spanien und China. Mehrere Romane wurden mit Preisen ausgezeichnet.
