He did M.A.(English) M.LIS, Ph.D in Library & Information Science & PGDCA. His research interest in the areas of Library Automation through present and upcoming modern technology, Bibliometric and Webometric analysis, Integration of Core Technology for promoting Library Resources, Use and implementation of e-Services in Library. Presently, he is an active member of various advisory committees in Library & Information Science including Member of "Advisory Committee for Collection Development of Print and E - resources" National Library, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India and Member of Procurement of books and Library Promotion Committee, Department of Education, Govt. of Bihar.
