Autor

Gareth Brown wurde in Falkirk, Schottland, geboren und träumte schon als kleiner Junge davon, später Romane zu schreiben. Nach dem Studium begann er, im öffentlichen Dienst zu arbeiten, gab jedoch seinen Traum von der Schriftstellerei nie auf. Wenn er nicht gerade schreibt, liebt Gareth Brown neue Länder und Städte zu erkunden. Seine vielen Reisen inspirierten ihn zu seinem Debütroman »Das Buch der tausend Türen«. Der Autor lebt mit seiner Frau in der Nähe von Edinburgh.Sabine Hübner ist Literaturübersetzerin und hat u. a. Werke von Michael Frayn, Walker Percy, Edward St. Aubyn, Dave Goulson, Mark Haddon und Matt Haig ins Deutsche übertragen. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt neben der beruflichen Tätigkeit ist ihr musikalisches Engagement. Aufgewachsen in Stuttgart, lebt sie heute mit Mann und Katzen in München.
