He is a former President of the International Society for Comparative Physical Education and Sport, an Honorary Member of the International Committee for Sport Science and the Physical Education Executive Committee and is a Fellow of the National Association for Physical Education, UK, the Royal Society of Arts, and International Fellow of the European Academy of Kinanthropology and Physical Education.Ken Green is Head of Department, Professor of Applied Sociology of Sport, Centre for Research in Sport and Society, University of Chester, UK, and Professor II in Physical Education at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, Oslo, Norway. He is also the Editor of the European Physical Education Review.
