Autor

J. François-Campbell is an accomplished costume maker and theatrical tailor with more than thirty years experience in the garment industry. She was born into a family of tailors and seamstresses, and has been sewing since the age of seven. After studying at the London College of Fashion and Central St Martin's Art School, Francois-Campbell was apprenticed as a costume maker, and has been making costumes for major West End productions and films ever since. She is currently employed by the Royal Opera House, where she works on costumes for principal opera singers and ballet dancers, and mentors students and apprentices. Outside the opera house, Francois-Campbell spends her spare time advising schools and online companies on children's historical clothing. This is her first book for GMC Publications.
