Rain Jordan is a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant (CBCC-KA) and Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) via the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), a Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training & Behavior Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP), and Certified Fearful Dogs Professional instructor/mentor. Jordan writes a canine behavior & training column for an Oregon newspaper in addition to doing private training and behavior work and directing charity programs, including The Fearful Dogs Project, for companion animals and their humans. Ms. Jordan holds a terminal degree (M.F.A. in Creative Writing) and has been a teacher since the early 2000s, including teaching English, creative writing, literature, poetry, and critical thinking in California colleges.
