José Méndez Baamonde. Geologist (1975; Complutense University of Madrid), Magister in Sedimentary Geology and Petroleum Geology (1981, Central University of Venezuela) and PhD in Geological Sciences (1984; Central University of Venezuela). Titular Professor of the Central University of Venezuela. Professor Méndez Baamonde has been an advisor in the Venezuelan oil industry for more than 30 years in the areas of geology, sedimentology and stratigraphy.
José A. Méndez Dot. Geochemist (2008), Magister (2011) and PhD (2017) in Geological Sciences (all titles awarded by the Central University of Venezuela), Postdoctoral Stay (2018-2020; Complutense University of Madrid). Dr. Méndez Dot has been focused his professional career in the Venezuelan oil industry on the study of Cretaceous source rocks as well as reservoir rocks, both carbonate and siliciclastic.
