Monica Violeta Achim is professor and doctoral supervisor in the field of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. With over 23 years of experience in academic field, she has published as author and co-author over 140 scientific articles and 25 books. In 2020 she obtained the Award for Excellence in Scientific Research, at Babes-Bolyai University as recognition of her scientific research. She is the project leader for governmental initiatives financed by the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research in order to research financial crime.
