The editors offer expertise in adolescent medicine as well as the use of telemedicine to provide health services to adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Evans is the current Division Head of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Seattle Children's Hospital, served as the director of telemedicine at a stand-alone Pediatric hospital for four years and has provided telemedicine services to adolescents for nearly a decade.

Dr. Golub is Program Director of the Adolescent Medicine fellowship at the University of Washington and has pioneered adapting trainee education into telemedicine encounters in the program.


Dr. Sequeira is the co-director of the Seattle Children's Hospital Gender Clinic andresearch focuses on understanding how best to use telemedicine to expand access to gender-affirming care. All 3 editors co-authored a peer reviewed manuscript on the use of telemedicine in adolescent health during the COVID-19 pandemic. This book will provide an overview of the use of telemedicine to improve access to care for adolescents and young adults with highlights on advances that have occurred during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
