Alessio Cavicchi is Full Professor of agribusiness, rural development and branding in the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment at the University of Pisa, Italy. He is Co-editor of the book series "Consumer Science and Strategic Marketing" published by Elsevier, Managing Editor of the "International Food and Agribusiness Management Review" and Associate Editor of "Food Economy". He is Scientific Coordinator of the MOOC "Sustainable Food Systems: a Mediterranean Perspective" offered by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Academy.

Francesco Caracciolo is Associate Professor of agricultural economics at the Department of Agricultural Sciences, University of Naples Federico II, Italy. For two decades, he has conducted groundbreaking research that explores the nexus between economic growth and environmental protection in the agriculture and food sectors.

Maria Crescimanno is Full Professor of agricultural economics and valuation at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Forest Sciences, University of Palermo, Italy. She is Author of more than 130 publications that have been published in a wide range of international, WOS and/or Scopus indexed and national peer-reviewed journals, conference proceeding and books.

Maria De Salvo is Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Sciences, University of Messina, Italy. Her main area of research concerns the economic valuation of environmental and natural resources, with a particular focus on the methodological issues associated with discrete choice models.

Antonino Galati is Full Professor at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Sciences, University of Palermo, Italy. He is Honorary Fellow in "International and European Agricultural Policy".

Antonio Seccia is Full Professor of agricultural economics and policy at the Department of Humanities, University of Foggia, Italy. He teaches courses such as legal issues of wine business, business management of food firms and tourism exploitation of the environmental and agri-food resources.

Laura Secco is Associate Professor of forest policy and governance at the Department of Land, Environment, Agriculture and Forestry, University of Padua, Italy. Her main fields of interest are social innovation, participatory approaches, conflict management, local rural development, nature-based solutions and human-nature connection. She is member of Editorial Boards of international scientific journals such as Forest Policy and Economics and Conservation Letters.
