Injections in Facial Aesthetic Medicine

An International Key Expert Guide
BuchGebunden
Englisch
Springer International Publishingerscheint am13.03.20252025

Minimally invasive cosmetic and aesthetic rejuvenation procedures are extremely popular and injecting dermal fillers is now widespread among dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Unfortunately, most books pursue a broad approach to injections for the whole integument or multiple therapeutic modalities, or are too focused on fillers, whereas the data confirms that most patients receive combination treatments with injectables for facial rejuvenation, following a more holistic approach.

Expressly careful to avoid regional, specialty-specific, company or product-based bias, and written by contributors  with a sound clinical and scientific background, this book shares substantial expertise and evidence-based data. A significant portion of the content is devoted to the anatomy, prevention, treatment and management of adverse events and complications after infections, the goal being to promote safe and effective treatment outcomes. As such,  Injections in Facial Aesthetic Medicine  is a fundamental, complete guide by key  international experts, that will be highly vaued to both novice and experienced professionals in dermatology and plastic surgery who deal with cosmetic procedures in their day-to-day clinical practice.
