Professor Shinobu Yoshimura is professor at the Department of Systems Innovation, School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. He has been working on high-performance and intelligent computational mechanics with real world's applications for 25 years. Professor Muneo Hori is currently working at the Earthquake Research Institute, The University of Tokyo. His major interest is applied mechanics, applying it to establish a new research field of computational earthquake engineering. Professor Makoto Ohsaki is teaching as a professor at the Department of Architecture, Graduate School of Engineering, Hiroshima University.
