Autor

Mrs. Magdalena Zielinska is an academic researcher with almost 20 years of experience in the field of environmental biotechnology. Specializing in the removal of micropollutants, such as BPA, from wastewater with biological methods that are integrated with membrane filtration, Dr. Zielinska's research also encompasses using molecular techniques to study microorganism populations in wastewater treatment systems.
She created and currently leads a specialized unit focusing on researching and teaching technologies/biotechnologies that are of interest for wastewater treatment. She has been an active academic tutor/lecturer for her whole career and has taught, supervised and designed a number of courses and programs at both the undergraduate, graduate and PhD levels.
An active reviewer of academic publications and projects, Dr. Zielinska has co-authored scientific publications and a chapter in a monograph published by Springer Protocols in 2010.
