Kathrin Lena Orso verbrachte ihre Kindheit im bayerischen Landshut. Inspiriert durch die Bücher von Enid Blyton war ihr großer Traum eine Detektivbande zu gründen - ein Plan, der aufgrund der niedrigen Verbrechensrate in ihrem Umfeld im Sande verlief. Davon unbeirrt dachte sie sich eigene Abenteuer aus und kritzelte ihre ersten Geschichten aufs Papier. Einige Jahre später machte sie eine Ausbildung zur Erzieherin, blieb aber ihrer Schreibleidenschaft treu und wagte 2018 als freie Autorin den Schritt in die Selbstständigkeit. Neben Jugendromanen und Vorlesegeschichten schreibt sie Texte für Kinderlieder, Bilderbücher und Comics. Die besten Ideen für neue Geschichten kommen ihr, wenn sie mit ihrer Hündin durch die Wälder streift.
