Ilias Ben Mna earned a PhD in American studies from Humboldt University of Berlin as well as a master's degree in business administration and English/American studies from the University of Mannheim. He currently teaches film history and analysis at the Department of American Studies, Humboldt University of Berlin. His research interests include US popular culture, media theory, US presidential rhetoric, and political discourse analysis.
