Water is life. It keeps life to carry on living. However, it's not evenly distributed across all over the spaces in the world. Access to potable drinking water is becoming a question of survival in developing countries like Ethiopia. It may not be to the shortage of water resources in the country but related to scarcity of financial resources to develop the resources. It is also related to mismanagement of available resources. Water supply projects are supposed to be developed for the benefit of local community, however, the degree of participation of these community at the grass-root level is discouraging. As the projects belong to them, it must be the community to take majority role of the design, development and management aspects of every development activities.mehr
