Autor

Renée Schroeder, geboren 1953 in João Monlevade, Brasilien, studierte Biochemie in Wien und New York, Habilitation in Genetik, seit 2005 leitet sie das Department für Biochemie an der Universität Wien. 2001 - 05 Mitglied der Bioethik-Kommission der österreichischen Bundesregierung, seit 2010 ist sie Mitglied des Rates für Forschung und Technologieentwicklung. 2002 war sie Österreichische Wissenschaftlerin des Jahres, 2003 erhielt sie den Wittgenstein-Preis, im selben Jahr wurde sie als eine der ersten Frauen Wirkliches Mitglied der Österreichischen, Akademie der Wissenschaften.Dr. Ruth Wodak ist Professorin für Angewandte Sprachwissenschaft am Institut für Sprachwissenschaft der Universität Wien.
