Pinacoteca Migrante / Migrant Art Gallery is an institution created by thePeruvian-Spanish artist Sandra Gamarra Heshiki and hosted by the Spanish Pavilion at the 60th Biennale di Venezia, 2024. The project analyses the arts´ systemic structures through pictorial appropriations based on the artist´s research on heritage paintings and objects in public collections and museums, from the Empire to the Enlightenment in Spain.
