This catalogue assembles exemplary work complexes by seventy-six artists from the well-known collection of photographs, including primary works of the Becher School , works from the sixties and seventies, as well as examples of the growing presence of new media and globalized communication. It also contains works by Olafur Eliasson, Gilbert & George, Nan Goldin, Andreas Gursky, Robert Mapplethorpe, Sigmar Polke, Richard Prince, Robert Rauschenberg, Thomas Ruff, Thomas Struth, Hiroshi Sugimoto, and many others.
