The book, which includes three articles, is dedicated to the outstanding Russian musicologist of the second half of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries, E.V. Nazaikinsky. The relevance of the first article is due to the authors' desire to analyze the scientist's activity in the unity of research and pedagogical practice. The totality of his works forms an "open form", which implies further development of original ideas. In the second article by I.P. Dabaeva, based on the theory of genres created by the scientist, the evolution of the Russian spiritual concerto is investigated, its genre models are revealed, and attention is focused on the most stable genre properties - the principles of contrast and dialogicality. The third article by I.M. Shabunova examines multimedia production on the basis of the scientist's concept of the specificity of musical instruments. Three directions, in the context of which new projects are created, are highlighted: classification of instruments, authentic performance, and history of the orchestra. The book is addressed to teachers and students of conservatories, as well as to a wide range of readers interested in music.mehr
