Autor

- Prof. Qinglei Hu

Prof. Hu is one of the world leading scholars in the field of Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C), Fault Diagnosis and Fault-Tolerant Control, and Nonlinear Dynamics and Control. He is a productive researcher and has published 150+ SCI journal papers, including 50+ papers in IEEE Transactions and in AIAA Journals. The impact of his professional knowledge can be witnessed by having 7000+ Google citations of his papers (with H-index 50) as well as 7 ESI highly cited papers.

Prof. Hu is a remarkable researcher, making fundamental contributions to spacecraft dynamics and GN&C systems. This is demonstrated by his outstanding work in the related fields. Moreover, he has been the pioneer to conduct research on fault-tolerant control with special applications to spacecraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and missiles, which has attracted a huge amount of attention. His work recently hasbrought a strong impact to the aforementioned fields. His contributions in these areas are outstanding.

As recognition for his significant contributions and success to both teaching and research, Prof. Hu has been presented a number of research awards (the second class of National Award for Technological Invention, etc.) and editorial services for many high-quality journals and has been invited as a visiting professor at a number of universities. Prof. Hu is currently the associate editor for Aerospace Science and Technology. He has been actively involved in various technical professional societies such AIAA, IEEE, and ASME, as reflected by Associate Fellow of AIAA, Senior Member of IEEE, and the general chair of many international conferences. Prof. Hu was awarded as the 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researcher in Control and Systems Engineering. Moreover, he is the recipient of the Royal Society Fellowship Award in 2008.
