Linda Converse is a retired social worker who spent over forty years working with mental health clients, adoptive parents, parents of children with developmental disabilities, military families, and dialysis patients. She is also a nonfiction writer. She has been published in newspapers, magazines, and anthologies. Her book She Loved Me, She Loved Me Not: Adult Parent Loss After a Conflicted Relationship was published in 2001. Linda now lives in Chico, Ca. with her husband of forty-seven years. She spends her free time writing, researching, reading and taking classes.
