Autor

Alcante began his career in Spirou after winning a script-writing competition organised by the magazine. His first major series was Pandora's Box, translated by Cinebook. Its success drew the attention of his idol, Jean Van Hamme, who asked him to write one of the volumes of the XIII Mystery series, followed by historical series Rani. After an early career drawing political cartoons in newspapers, Francois Boucq got into comics, publishing in magazines Pilote and Fluide Glacial. His talent was recognised at the Angoulême festival, first with a Best Book award then with a Grand Prix. He worked with the greatest names, including Jodorowski with whom he created Bouncer.
