Jennifer Saint begeisterte sich schon als Kind für die griechische Mythologie, und während ihres Studiums der Altphilologie am King's College in London hat sie ihre Liebe zu den antiken Sagen vertieft. Als Englischlehrerin versucht sie die Faszination für Geschichten aller Art und die reiche Erzähltradition seit Homer zu vermitteln. Jeder Erzähler hat die antiken Stoffe für sich neu interpretiert. Jennifer Saint stellt die weibliche Heldin in den Mittelpunkt.

Simone Jakob hat Literaturübersetzen in Düsseldorf studiert und übersetzt Bücher aus dem Englischen und Französischen, u.a. von David Nicholls, Philip Kerr, Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor, Dani Atkins, Abi Daré und Jennifer Saint. Sie lebt und arbeitet in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

Anne-Marie Wachs hat Allgemeine und Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft und Germanistik in Berlin studiert und übersetzt Literatur verschiedener Genres aus dem Englischen.
