Dr. Shailendra Singh Rana  [ MDS, MAMS, MFDS RCPS (Glasg)] completed his postgraduation in Orthodontics in 2014 from the prestigious, All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi. He continued working as a Senior Resident for 3 years and a cleft fellow at AIIMS, New Delhi till 2019. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor at the All India Institute Of Medical Science, Bathinda, Punjab. He is also a life member of various societies like the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India), Indian Orthodontic Society, the Indian Society for Dental Research, International Association of Dental Research, the Indian Society of Cleft Lip, palate and craniofacial anomalies, fellow-Member of World Federation of Orthodontists and the Indian Dental Association. He has presented various papers at national & international conferences and symposiums. He has over 20 publications in national and international journals and 8 book chapters to his name. He has filed 4 patents in India. He was awarded the prestigious S. S. Sidhu award in 2023 by the National Academy of Medical Sciences. He is actively involved in teaching and training in master of dental surgery (MDS) program. His current interest areas are orthodontic treatment in cleft lip and palate patients, Artificial Intelligence, miniscrew implants for orthodontic anchorage, 3D printing and procedures that shorten orthodontic treatment duration. Lastly, he is also the Principal investigator of several research projects funded by national agencies such as ICMR and SERB. Through his clinical and research work he aims to simplify orthodontic treatment as per the needs of our country.

Dr. Prabhat Kumar Chaudhari  [MDS, FAMS, MFDS RCPS (Glasg), MFDS RCS (Eng), MDTFEd] completed his degree in dental surgery in 2008, with specific training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics in 2011 from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. Currently, he is an additional professor at theDivision of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Deformities at the Centre for Dental Education and Research, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. Dr. Chaudhari´s research interests include orthodontic care of children with and without cleft lip and palate, the application of 3-D printing and non-ionizing surface imaging in oral health science in general and in orthodontics in particular along with the application of artificial intelligence-based deep neural networks for dental application. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals, and some book chapters. Dr .  Chaudhari is involved in teaching and training in cleft and craniofacial orthodontic fellowship program, master of dental surgery (MDS) program, bachelor of science in dental operating room assistance (BSc. DORA) program. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India), a member of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), and a Member of the topic group Dental Diagnostics and Digital Dentistry (TG-Dental) as part of the International Telecommunication Union and World Health Organization (ITU/WHO) Focus Group on artificial intelligence for health (FG-AI4H).  Dr. Chaudhari is an associate editor of BMC Oral Health (digital dentistry section), and section editor for the Journal of Oral Biology and Craniofacial Research. 

Dr. Abhishek Gupta is currently working as Senior Scientist at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation Chandigarh, India. He has completed B.E. (CSE), M.E. (CSE), and Ph.D. (Engineering) in computer science and engineering. He is working in the field of computational dentistry and medical image processing. His research areas are medical/dental imaging, computer vision and artificial intelligence. He has worked widely in the area of computational dentistry. He has filed 8 patents in India and US. Out of them 2 US patents and 1 Indian patent has been granted in his credit. He has authored around 30 articles in SCI journals, and authored several other articles in conferences and other journals with reputed indexing. He has guided 3 PhD thesis, 7 M. Tech dissertations and several B. Tech projects. He has served as a lead guest editor of many reputed SCI journals published by Springer and Wiley. Currently, he is serving as associate editor for the Journal of Multimedia Tools and Applications in medical imaging theme.
