Not only historical-analytical insights, but also empirical data come into play. These are based on a member survey of 1,100 members of free evangelical congregations conducted in autumn 2019. The results promise deeper and differentiated insights into the special features of the free evangelical church model and thus offer a contribution to the discussion about the future of the church(es).
