Kirstin Breitenfellner, geboren 1966 in Wien, aufgewachsen in Kufstein/Tirol und ab 1972 in Bensheim an der Bergstraße, Deutschland. Sie studierte Germanistik, Philosophie und Russisch an den Universitäten Heidelberg und Wien. Lebt und arbeitet seit 1989 als Schriftstellerin, Kinderbuchautorin, Literaturkritikerin, Übersetzerin, Journalistin und Yogalehrerin in Wien.
