Schulthess Juristische Medienerschienen am24.09.2015
Focusing on the legal relationship between the UN Convention against Corruption and international human rights, the study suggests how norm conflicts between different international law regimes can be dealt with. It thereby contributes to a highly topical issue and is addressed to both international law practitioners and academics. The study⢠illustrates the interpretation of an international treaty with a view to its legal relationship to other rules of international law. In this regard the study can serve as a role model for public international treaty lawyers;⢠contributes to the improving of practical applicability of the principle of systemic integration that finds resonance in Art. 31(3)(c) VCLT. It thereby helps public international law practitioners in harmonising conflicting rules of international law; and⢠helps public international treaty lawyers to identify and consider aspects to be taken into account in resolving norm conflicts between different areas of law.mehr
