The core aspect of this work is the functional interplay between action representation, action perception, and action control.Four experimental studies are presented here referring to the role of motor expertise for perceiving and anticipating complex movements. Specifically, even unconscious processing mechanisms are investigated. For all studies, the priming paradigm, which is an established paradigm in experimental psychology, is used.
