Deike Zimmann (M.A.) hat Sinologie sowie Mittlere und Neuere Geschichte in Hamburg und Wuhan (Hubei, China) studiert und war einige Jahre als Bibliothekarin der China-Abteilung der Universität Hamburg tätig. Seit 1998 entwickelt sie in ihrer eigenen Firma (www.leansite.de) Webpräsenzen und Datenbanken, unter anderem für mehrere chinawissenschaftliche Projekte in Berlin, Hamburg und München.
