»Das Buch von Ulrich Weiß verdient großes Lob: Seine Gesamtdarstellung des Hobbesschen Systems zeichnet sich nämlich aus durch eine klare unprätentiöse Sprache und durch eine dementsprechende Gegliedertheit und Transparenz des Gedankenganges, wobei doch nirgends die komplexe Problemlage unbillig verkürzt wird.
